Bioenergy for West Midlands farmers
A collaboration project with the European Bioenergy Research Institute (EBRI) at Aston University, this EU-funded programme enabled Greenwatt to carry out more than 20 on-farm feasibility studies to support farmers and landowners in making the most of bioenergy opportunities available – anaerobic digestion, biomass, and biofuels for transport.
The programme included on-farm workshops and bioenergy masterclasses to demonstrate technologies and to address common barriers such as planning restrictions, project finance and grid connectivity.
If farmers and landowners require an informal discussion to review bioenergy or other renewable energy options available, please contact us.
