Sustainable Homes
Greenwatt took part in an evaluation of DECC Green Deal and Fuel Poverty pilot programmes in the West Midlands. The evaluation studied the impact and cost-effectiveness of the projects in order to assist with future scheme design and monitoring. The project also undertook dissemination of the results to local authority representatives across the West Midlands. SHAP (Sustainable Housing Action Partnership).
Resource management evaluation – Bayton Road Industrial Estate
We carried out end-of-project evaluation as part of a regional funding appraisal report including collection of direct feedback from business beneficiaries on this 200-company industrial estate covering areas of business support, waste management, and environmental resource management. Brown field site regeneration
We led the funding application for this £3 million initiative that aimed to regenerate urban and rural brownfield sites into SME workspace and starter units. North Warwickshire Borough Council.
Advanced Construction Technology Centre ACT-UK
Prepared feasibility and business plan as part of a funding application to the regional development agency AWM for this £10 million initiative which established the UK national training and professional development centre in Coventry TechnoCentre. AWM and Learning Skills Council.
Biomass Engineering – Prototype development proposal
Greenwatt prepared the funding application and feasibility study for a leading UK machinery manufacturer developing a prototype waste wood shredding machine to service the biomass power station market. Private client.
Sustainable Economic Development Assessment
We carried out a sustainable planning development study for a new college campus and a business centre for creative industries including assessment of economic regeneration outputs, analysis of workspace, community benefits, transport and sustainable environment.
