Electric vehicle deployment

A pilot project ‘Warwickshire Rural Electric Vehicles’ (WREV) designed to encourage rural businesses to examine the options for adopting electric vehicles (EVs) in their businesses in an effort to counter increasing fossil fuel costs, to improve the carbon footprint of the rural business, and to stimulate rural business development. Thirty businesses have received a feasibility study to confirm the suitability and viability of an electric vehicle for the business with fifteen businesses receiving grant funding towards the lease hire of an electric vehicle and the installation of a charge point. The project is part of the Warwickshire Rural Growth Network funded by Defra and led by Warwickshire County Council, on behalf of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).   Wood Biomass Cooperative

Greenwatt Technology was the project manager for a Bio-Energy Infrastructure project (Defra) which supported the establishment of a farm and woodland owner cooperative in Warwickshire.

 

Regenerating brown field sites in Old Town Leamington Spa
Greenwatt/ATI Projects led the grant funding application process for this £10 million project aimed at regenerating the business environment of Old Town through renovation of brown-field sites and premises into innovative workspace for creative industries. Client: Warwick District Council.
